Chatsworth Country Fair, 1st – 3rd September

We are so lucky to attend Chatsworth House again for Chatsworth Country Fair.  This is one of our favourite events in our calendar  and although we have been lucky enough to attend the  event for over 20 years, this year was our busiest one yet.  The sun shone on both Saturday and Sunday and therefore the Pimm’s & Champagne Bar was in such demand.  We almost ran out of Champagne, which would have been a first!

We loved watching the Hot Air Balloons ascend each morning which is a perfect start to the day.  In fact we don’t think we will ever get bored of watching  these rise up into the sky. Another site to behold is  listening to the bagpipes being played later in the afternoon as they march past our bars.  British events do not get any better than this.
